Choose your Membership

Everyone is welcome to become a member:

  • Game and Interactive Studios are categorised into Membership Tiers based on the number of full-time employees + contractors that work in the studio.

  • Individuals can get a membership for free through their employer or they can buy a membership directly from the NZGDA.

  • Other groups such as media, partnership businesses, government departments, and educational institutions can also join as organisational members.

  • Students and recent graduates (< 1 year post grad) can obtain student memberships at a discounted rate.

Individuals must have an Individual Membership to participate in the NZGDA’s professional development programs like Kiwi Game Starter and NZGDC.

Individual or Student Membership

    Tier 3 (21-50 staff) $6,250 ‍JOIN NOW

All employees (up to the tier limit) of Studio Member organisations are eligible for complimentary individual membership.

All memberships are for a full year from the date of joining
