What is the NZGDA?
The New Zealand Game Developers Association is a not-for-profit incorporated society formed in 2001 to champion and nurture the growth of the game development industry in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
The NZGDA focuses on supporting local developers through advocacy, networking opportunities, professional development, and resources. By promoting the interests of our members and the industry as a whole, we aim to enhance the visibility and viability of New Zealand's game development community on both national and international stages.
Our members include commercial game development studios, individual developers and artists employed in the industry, self-employed freelancers, indie game developers, teams applying gaming expertise to health and education, gamification designers, retro gaming enthusiasts, students, educators and researchers.
