Growing the international profile of New Zealand’s game development sector will be a key focus of a new study, announced today at a Techweek event by Broadcasting, Communications and Digital Media Minister Clare Curran.
NZ Game Development Revenues Hit $100M
New Zealand’s game developers earned $99.87M in the financial year ending 31 March 2017 according to an independent survey of New Zealand Game Developers Association studios. That’s double-digit growth of 12% in the last year, up from to $88.9m in FY2016.
