CANVAS CITY ROLLS ONTO STEAM WITH A FREE DEMO
Players can now try out NZGDA Studio Member, Disc 2 Games’, rebellious turn-based tactics RPG, combining tactical combat, roller skating and street art with the first four levels and over two hours of gameplay.
Free Steam demo available from 25 August
The demo takes players through the first half of the opening act of Canvas City, including the game’s tutorial and first four levels.
Along the way, players will meet six playable members of the Fire Starters, experiment with all three character classes, unlock new abilities and skating tricks, and replay battles to complete bonus objectives and grow their Follower count.
Tag Spots scattered throughout each arena add another tactical layer, and claiming them will generate Style Points for your whole crew, but rival skaters can take them back, turning each encounter into a battle for positioning and control.
As the Fire Starters grow stronger, players unlock new abilities for each character and collect Magazines that expand their repertoire of aerial and rail tricks, opening up more options for how they approach each turn.
Demo Features:
Play the Opening Act: Dive into the tutorial and first four levels of Canvas City, introducing the crew, world and core tactical systems.
Build Your Crew: Play as six characters across all three classes, raise your Crew Level to 8 and unlock up to four abilities per character.
Expand Your Moves: Claim Magazines from each of the four battles to unlock additional aerial and rail tricks.
Replay and Improve Your Rank: Return to completed battles to tackle bonus objectives, earn more Followers and try different strategies.
The Canvas City demo is available free on Steam from 25 August, with the full game currently in development for PC and Nintendo Switch. Players can currently wishlist the full game on Steam.
