Blitz Research Limited is the Auckland, New Zealand based development company behind the popular, easy to use programming language Blitz Basic. In continual development since the early '90s, Blitz Basic has evolved into a powerful and flexible language for creating slick, playable videogames with support for high speed 2D routines, networking and 3D graphics rendering.
The next highly anticipated version of the software, Blitz Max, will add multiplatform capability with support for Windows, MacOS X, and Linux. This new version promises to be faster and more flexible than ever before. Blitz Max is due in 2003.
Current versions of Blitz Basic are available from Blitz Research's UK publishing partner Guildhall Leisure Services.
