Hey all,
Do you NZ game-heads have any galleries? I'd love to see some of the digital artwork coming out of your beautiful country..

| I think your best bet is to check the web sites in member profiles and signatures. |

Actually, reviving this thread reminded me there is a free NZ gallery of game and 3D art designed to promote work
http://www.nz3d.co.nz
Its only a new site, but there is some nice stuff on there already. _________________ Mario Wynands

Nice robots!, Great detail in the feet
I have some crits for your enviroments.
The hallway with the robot. The lighting needs alot of work. Its very dark especialy the roof. You should try to light it up a bit. Perhaps you could have some light being cast from beneath the floor? It would cast some pretty neat shadows. The current shadows are also a bit hard edged at the moment.
Putting some light on the robot would help to draw attention to it.
The concrete wall is a bit plain and the texture is stretched a bit. Perhaps put some more pipes or panels on it? Maybe have some words painted on it.
The lab enviroment.
The lighting here could be improved. The roof is pitch black, as are other areas. Some green light being emiited from the tanks would look great. And some blueish light being cast from the windowed area up the back would mix well with it.
The docks
Again the lighting needs a bit more work. Instead of haveing pitch black shadows try some dark blue ones. Maybe have some hanging lanterns from the buildings to help them stand out more and show off some detail.
The street lights on the dock look a bit werid aswell. The lights are really bright but dont appear to be casteing light on anything. What would be really cool would be to have some volumetric light being cast down from them. You could use an alphaed plane to get this effect.
Hope thats some help
That robots legs and feet are friggn awesome btw |

Thus, it becomes a Wii and DS release? It is good. I remember the first time they announced this in Windows Mobile. Looks good, I suppose, if it resembles Kirby: Canvas Curse of the gameplay. Hopefully that will distinguish and maintain the same quality as this title. _________________ christian louboutin |
